Wren is just a guy. He sometimes draws things in between making crosswords, traveling the world, and juggling in the circus. His comics come not from an artistic drive or even necessarily a razor sharp wit, but from a recognition that creating content that makes people smile is a valuable aspiration. And why do I always think of probes when I see aliens?
